Terms of Use
Last Updated: October 29, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of www.puertoricoproleague.com and other websites, digital services, forms, content, and online resources operated by Puerto Rico Independent Baseball League, PRIBL Baseball, LLC, and their affiliated programs and services (“PRIBL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the website, submitting an application, creating or submitting a registration, or otherwise using a PRIBL online service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, you should not use the website.

1. Purpose of the Website
The PRIBL website provides information regarding PRIBL leagues, baseball programs, events, schedules, applications, registrations, participation opportunities, player development, recruiting, professional evaluation, partnerships, team ownership opportunities, news, and related services.
Information on the website is provided for general informational and administrative purposes and may be updated at any time.
2. Player Applications
Submitting a player application does not guarantee acceptance into a PRIBL program.
Applications may be reviewed individually based on eligibility, roster needs, playing position, program requirements, available capacity, competitive considerations, and other factors determined by PRIBL.
PRIBL reserves the right to accept or decline an application in its discretion, subject to applicable law.
An application is not a roster reservation unless PRIBL expressly confirms otherwise.
3. Registration and Roster Availability
A participant is not considered fully registered solely because an application, interest form, or pre-registration form has been submitted.
A roster spot may require acceptance, completion of registration documents, payment of an applicable deposit or fee, execution of required agreements, and satisfaction of any other requirements communicated by PRIBL.
Roster availability is limited and may change without notice.
PRIBL may establish deadlines for applications, deposits, balances, documents, travel information, housing information, or other participation requirements.
Failure to meet an applicable deadline may result in loss of eligibility, housing availability, roster availability, or other program benefits.
4. Eligibility
Each PRIBL program may have its own eligibility requirements.
Eligibility may depend on factors including age, graduation year, school or college status, athletic eligibility, playing experience, professional status, or other program-specific criteria.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate eligibility information.
PRIBL may request documentation or other information reasonably necessary to confirm eligibility.
Providing false, misleading, incomplete, or materially inaccurate information may result in rejection, cancellation of registration, removal from a roster, or dismissal from a program.
5. Program-Specific Terms
These Terms of Use govern use of the PRIBL website but do not replace program-specific agreements.
Participation may also be subject to registration terms, payment terms, refund or cancellation policies, participation agreements, waivers, releases, medical authorizations, insurance requirements, codes of conduct, housing rules, travel requirements, media releases, or other documents applicable to a particular program.
If a program-specific agreement conflicts with these Terms of Use regarding participation in that program, the program-specific agreement will control with respect to that issue.
6. Fees and Payments
Program fees, deposits, housing fees, transportation fees, optional services, and other charges will be identified during the applicable application, acceptance, registration, or purchasing process.
Participants are responsible for reviewing all charges before submitting payment.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers and may be subject to additional terms imposed by those providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by PRIBL, submitting a payment does not create a guarantee of playing time, statistical performance, recruiting exposure, professional placement, scholarship, contract, or other athletic outcome.
7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Credits
Cancellation, refund, transfer, and credit policies may vary by program.
The policy applicable to a particular registration will be the policy presented or incorporated into the registration process, payment terms, acceptance materials, or other applicable participant agreement.
Participants should review those terms before making a payment.
Nothing in these Terms of Use limits any non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.
8. Schedules, Locations, and Program Changes
PRIBL may publish anticipated schedules, dates, locations, facilities, game times, training sessions, showcases, postseason formats, travel plans, coaches, instructors, partners, or other program details.
Baseball programs are subject to circumstances that may require changes.
PRIBL reserves the right to modify schedules, game times, competition formats, facilities, staff assignments, team assignments, programming, housing arrangements, transportation arrangements, or other operational details when reasonably necessary.
Reasons may include weather, field conditions, facility availability, safety concerns, transportation issues, governmental action, emergencies, staffing, competitive considerations, force majeure events, or circumstances outside PRIBL's reasonable control.
PRIBL will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes when practicable.
9. Playing Time and Team Assignments
Unless a specific written program agreement states otherwise, participation in a PRIBL program does not guarantee a particular amount of playing time, innings, plate appearances, pitching appearances, defensive position, lineup placement, roster role, or team assignment.
Coaches and PRIBL personnel may make competitive, developmental, medical, safety, workload, or operational decisions concerning player participation.
PRIBL may assign or reassign players among teams when reasonably necessary for roster balance, competitive structure, safety, player development, or operational needs.
10. Professional, College, and Recruiting Opportunities
PRIBL may provide environments in which players can be evaluated by coaches, scouts, recruiting personnel, professional baseball organizations, independent professional clubs, colleges, universities, or other baseball representatives.
Participation does not guarantee that any scout, coach, team, college, organization, or representative will attend a particular event, evaluate a particular player, contact a participant, offer a roster opportunity, provide a scholarship, extend a professional contract, or take any other action.
Any recruiting, college, or professional opportunity ultimately depends on decisions made by independent third parties.
PRIBL does not guarantee a professional baseball contract, college roster position, scholarship, recruitment outcome, or advancement to any particular level of baseball.
11. Player Statistics and Performance Information
PRIBL may record, maintain, publish, display, distribute, or otherwise use competition-related information generated through its programs.
This may include rosters, schedules, scores, standings, statistics, game results, awards, video, photographs, performance measurements, evaluations, and related baseball information.
The availability, accuracy, and completeness of statistics or technology-generated data cannot be guaranteed.
Statistics and performance information may be corrected or updated when appropriate.
12. Travel, Housing, and Transportation
Certain PRIBL programs may offer or coordinate housing, airport transportation, local transportation, meals, travel assistance, or related services.
The specific services included in a participant's package will be identified in the applicable registration materials.
Participants are responsible for complying with published travel deadlines, arrival instructions, departure instructions, housing rules, transportation schedules, and other operational requirements.
PRIBL is not responsible for airline delays, flight cancellations, lost baggage, immigration or travel documentation issues, missed connections, or other matters controlled by airlines, transportation companies, government agencies, or other third parties.
Additional fees may apply when participants request services outside published schedules or program parameters.
13. Player Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the standards of PRIBL, their team, the facility, and the applicable program.
Behavior involving violence, threats, harassment, discrimination, bullying, theft, vandalism, illegal activity, substance abuse, serious disruption, intentional damage, repeated rule violations, or conduct that creates a material safety concern may result in disciplinary action.
Depending on the circumstances, disciplinary action may include warnings, suspension, removal from activities, dismissal from housing, removal from a team, or dismissal from the program.
Program-specific codes of conduct may provide additional requirements.
14. Athletic Risk
Baseball and athletic training involve inherent risks.
These may include physical contact, collisions, being struck by a ball or bat, falls, overuse injuries, muscle or joint injuries, heat-related conditions, transportation risks, facility-related risks, and other foreseeable or unforeseeable injuries.
Participation in PRIBL athletic activities may require execution of separate waivers, releases, medical forms, emergency authorizations, or assumption-of-risk documents.
These Terms of Use do not replace those documents.
15. Medical and Emergency Information
Participants are responsible for providing accurate and current medical, emergency contact, insurance, allergy, medication, and other safety-related information when requested.
Participants and parents or legal guardians are responsible for notifying PRIBL of material medical conditions that may reasonably affect safe participation when required by applicable program policies or agreements.
PRIBL personnel are not substitutes for a participant's personal physician or licensed healthcare provider.
16. Minors
Participants under 18 may be required to have a parent or legal guardian complete or approve applications, registrations, payments, waivers, releases, medical authorizations, housing documents, travel arrangements, and other participation requirements.
A parent or legal guardian submitting information or documents on behalf of a minor represents that they have legal authority to do so.
Additional protections apply to personal information collected online from children under 13 as described in the PRIBL Privacy Policy.
17. Photographs, Video, and Media
PRIBL programs may be photographed, recorded, streamed, or otherwise documented.
The use of a participant's name, likeness, image, voice, photographs, video, or related material may be governed by media releases, participation agreements, registration terms, or other consents associated with the applicable program.
Nothing in these Terms of Use independently expands any media rights beyond the permissions provided in applicable releases, agreements, or law.
18. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the PRIBL website and its original content, including names, logos, trademarks, service marks, graphics, designs, photographs, videos, written content, schedules, promotional materials, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to PRIBL and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access website content for personal, non-commercial informational purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, license, exploit, impersonate, or commercially use PRIBL intellectual property without prior written authorization, except as permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and intellectual property appearing on the website remain the property of their respective owners.
19. Acceptable Use
You may not use the PRIBL website to interfere with website operations or security, attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts, introduce malicious code, scrape or extract data through unauthorized automated methods, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent information, infringe intellectual property rights, harass others, or engage in unlawful activity.
PRIBL may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the website, PRIBL, its participants, or third parties.
20. Third-Party Services and Links
PRIBL may provide links to third-party websites or use third-party services for payments, communications, video, statistics, social media, transportation, housing, technology, insurance, recruiting, or other purposes.
Third-party services operate independently from PRIBL and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
PRIBL does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, security, policies, products, representations, or practices of independent third parties.
21. Website Information
PRIBL makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information.
However, website content may occasionally contain errors, omissions, outdated information, technical problems, or typographical errors.
PRIBL may correct, update, remove, or modify website information at any time without prior notice.
If information displayed on the website conflicts with a participant's executed program agreement or official written communication from PRIBL, the applicable executed agreement or official communication may control.
22. Website Availability
PRIBL does not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Access may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, service provider outages, security concerns, upgrades, or circumstances beyond PRIBL's control.
23. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and general website content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
PRIBL disclaims warranties concerning the availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness of general website content for a particular purpose, except where such warranties cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in this section eliminates obligations expressly assumed by PRIBL in a separate written agreement.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PRIBL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising solely from the use of or inability to use the website.
Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Participant claims arising from athletic participation, payments, housing, transportation, or other program services may also be governed by the applicable registration documents, participant agreements, waivers, releases, or other program-specific terms.
25. Privacy
Use of the website is also subject to the PRIBL Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy describes how PRIBL collects, uses, and protects personal information.
26. Applicable Law
These Terms of Use are governed by applicable laws of Puerto Rico and the United States, without limiting any rights that cannot legally be waived under another applicable jurisdiction.
A specific participant, vendor, employment, partnership, ownership, or other agreement may contain separate governing-law or dispute-resolution provisions, in which case those provisions will apply to that agreement.
27. Changes to These Terms
PRIBL may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
Changes take effect when the revised Terms of Use are posted, unless a later effective date is stated.
The “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this document identifies the most recent revision.
Continued use of the website after revised Terms of Use become effective constitutes acknowledgement of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
28. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
29. No Waiver
PRIBL's failure to enforce a provision of these Terms of Use does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of PRIBL's right to enforce it later.
