Ballparks Health & Safety Guidelines

To create a safe and enjoyable experience for all fans visiting our Ballparks during the 2022 season, the Puerto Rico Independent Baseball League has increased health measures at any 2022 season facility. These plans have been prepared following Federal, State, and Local regulations and guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Puerto Rico Department of Health. 

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

CLEANING & SANITATION

PRIBL Parks undergo cleaning and sanitization before, during, and after each Game to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19. Touchless wall-mounted and pedestal hand sanitizing stations have been installed around the facility. Portable electric static sprayers will be used to sanitize the seating and general gathering seating areas. Fans are asked to practice frequent hand washing and utilize hand sanitizing stations.

FACE COVERINGS REQUIRED

All Guests two (2) years and older, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine, must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth at all times while visiting any PRIBL Field except when actively eating or drinking at their ticketed seats. Facial shields without an accompanying facial covering will not be permitted. Gaiters, bandanas, masks with ventilation holes, and other face coverings are unacceptable.

PARKING

Parking is free to reduce points of contact between fans and staff. Contactless security screening allows attendees to keep all items in their pockets.

BALLPARK ENTRY 

Guests will be subject to temperature checks and hand sanitizing before entry to the ballpark.

NO BAGS 

To reduce touchpoints between employees and guests, no bags will be permitted except for those that are carried for medical reasons or manufactured diaper bags that accompany infants and young children.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD 

No outside food is permitted inside the ballpark. Each guest may bring one (1) sealed non-flavored water bottle (plastic bottle only) that is one (1) liter or less in size. Bag storage is not available at the ballpark.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Capacity at any PRIBL Field will be limited to maintain physical distancing. Social distance guidelines (6’) will be enforced at all ballpark entrances. Also, Concession and Merchandise points of sale will require 6’ social distancing. 

SEATING

Seating will be sold in pods ranging in size from two (2) to six (6) seats. All seating pods will be seated at least six (6) feet from any other seating pod. Attendees must maintain a distance of six (6) feet from anyone not in their seating pod at all times while on the ballpark property.

STAFF HEALTH SCREENINGS

Your safety is of the utmost concern, and as such, all PRIBL Teams employees will be temperature-checked and appropriately health-screened upon entering any PRIBL Field. Personnel must wear face coverings as part of updated uniform policies.
